How to get there
You can reach HOSPET by train from Bangalore
Take the Hampi Express.
Departs Bangalore at 22:00 hrs and reaches Hospet around 07:30 hrs (IST)
You can hire a taxi or auto (Indian tuk-tuk) to reach Hampi (13km away)
Fair price by auto is Rs.100/-
Bus is a lot cheaper option but not worth the wait. In addition to that you can enjoy the landscape much better in an auto-rickshaw than the bus. I don't know it's just my opinion.
